since i am like almost 48 hrs late ar
happy chinese new year ler x)

but i am a bit sore lo cos i am red packet deprived.
sigh.
can’t even ask my friends who are married with kidssss summore
cos they also a bit broke aye or maybe they just clever at avoiding.

so
uni was on a halt since my last paper in november
i passed and failed
so nothing to shout about
still no As so yea. but i didn’t work hard enough to get it
but that year was a bit too much for me emotionally
cos i couldn’t cope with being wayyyyyyyyy to many ppl’s pillar of support
and the death of my grandfather
and the super changes i experienced in myself - which is quite dramatic - even for my standards
and of course
i got a new job
and started life in the near year on a whole new different outlook.

i love my job
currently a barista in training
its good money la cos being barista, gotta be waitress also.
but this is a good experience in the sense i learn something about hospitality and i’m fucking grateful
i am learning it here and not back in asia cos i sure kena marah edi by fucking angers customers who
think people who have to be waitress and respectable jobs like that are 3rd rate citizens and seriously
I FUCKING SWEAR
there is no money to make as a barista in malaysia
so no point, right?
cos the coffee people want to drink is either at starfucks or at tea leaf and coffee bean
and robert harris [hey i used to work for them so i got nothing to say]
but i just saying ler
you want proper machine coffee, well in malaysia
too blardddyyy hot to drink flat whites and mocha lattes
so you go to the coffeeshop/kopitiam/mamak and order stuff that would give my mentor a heart attack -
kopi ping, kopi-O, kopi nga dunno wat, and kopi-i-dun-fucking-remember

but its bloody cool and only way i ever gonna work in this industry in malaysia is i open the bloody cafe myself
i got to have a glimpse of how to run a decent cafe should be- so that’s good.

i’m trying to hone my cullinery skills
cos i like cooking but i just can’t be fucked and its not hard la
eat once or twice
[simple european food la]
and then can sudah agak agak how to cook

but i still fucking love eating in new zealand
the salmon and other fish they use to make the nigiris and sushis and sashimis…
ARE SO FUCKING FRESH i remember goin to that place in midvalley and havin to eat their raw fish..
i’m like..i am fucking sure IT DOESN’T TASTE LIKE THAT
but what you expect..frozen stuff imported into the country and of course
i got the fucking priviledge to bitch bout how authentic is korean and japanese food in new zealand is compared to malaysia
the thing is
THERE IS NO FUCKING AUTHENTIC MALAYSIAN FOOD HERe
its a fucking rip off ok?
i am so not fucking paying $14 to eat nasi lemak and roti canai
you can fucking kiss my arse but since i moved here, the only time i have to eat malaysian food outside
is because
1) if i dun eat, i will die of hunger and really tak kasi muka to my parents
2) cos meeting up with malaysian people and all they wanna eat is the hawker food malaysian food
[sorry ler i only turn up to the UMSA dinners cos its the real cooks that cooks those food and i would fucking pay $20 to eat that REAL MALAYSIAN FOOD] but that isn’t hte point

the best thing i like eating in new zealand is

lol..yea those hk cafe food….ppl in hk eat during rush hour

and having to eat fresh salad without paying an arm and leg for it
and drinking fresh milk and ok….i kid you not - delicious and affordable soy products
and fucking all kinds of instant noodles from taiwan to korea to china to hk - like u see in the movies WITH NO MALAYSIAN TOUCH~ dam fucking nice man…abalone instant noodles…[ok i actually buy the abalone can and put it in my thai tomyum instant noodles…]

enough of food.
nothing here would ever beat the mamaks and the market food i always eat at home for breakfast
so yea
i guess no amount of money in the world can buy me that kind of happiness
cos i go back to malaysia to eat those stuff
i suffer from bad food poisoning or bad allergy cos dusty and constant nose bleed cos of the fucking humidity for like
maybe 3 days in a row
or live here n suffer 9 months of coldness and 3 months of fucking hell in the summer just to make sure when i graduate ar, i earn more than i would with fair chances and many opportunities

2. speeding initial D style - of course random drags are awesome cos the sound that is emitted from the exhaust is awesome.
